From my earliest days, when the world was a vast, uncharted garden, I felt an unbreakable bond with nature, her song shaping my soul. Born in a small town where summers seemed endless, I spent my days wandering freely from dawn to dusk.
I clearly recall the blackbirds' melodies weaving through the air, the rain revealing a hidden world where snails glistened like jewels, and the light touch of a ladybird on my arm, reminding me of the small miracles all around.
When night fell and I was called indoors, I instinctively reached for pen and paper, trying to capture the day’s wonders ~ a habit as natural as breathing that has stayed with me til now.
In winter, I would sit by the upstairs window, watching sparrows and thrushes dance in murmuration before their journey south. Their graceful flight inspired a quiet resolve to preserve the fleeting beauty of life in my art.
Even now, the forest at sunset.. bathed in a deep orange light, brings me peace. With an art and design diploma and a fine art degree, I’ve traveled many paths, but all lead back to the easel. My work seeks to capture the beauty that nature gifts us, inspired by the forests, beaches, mountains, and most evidently ~ wildflowers, that speak to me with a voice both ancient and new.
When I create, I’m transported to a realm where the world is not just seen but felt, and I hope these same feelings resonate with you through my art.
