Mini Terrarium Workshop in the Woods

🍄‍🟫 Create your own ecosystem, a self-sustaining miniature world, right in the heart of nature.

🌿 Join us for a special outdoor workshop, where you’ll gather some natural materials from the forest and learn how to build a sealed, self-sustaining terrarium inside a glass jar, learn which type of plants will thrive in the enclosed environment, how much water it needs, how it will change and develop over time (we will use a special ingredient to encourage teeny tiny mushrooms to pop up in there!) and how to care for it after you take it home.

👣 We’ll begin with a mindful walk through the woods, foraging for moss, tiny plants, pebbles, bark and twigs to include in your terrarium. Along the way, you’ll learn about the magic of closed ecosystems and how your little world will thrive with no extra watering. Discover the role of microfauna, tiny natural cleaners like isopods and springtails, and how they contribute to a thriving environment.

🫙 During the creative part of the workshop, you’ll handcraft your own miniature landscape, adding crystals, tiny decorations, and real live creatures! By the end of the session, you’ll take home a living, self-sustaining terrarium ~ a little piece of the forest to keep at home.

🌱 This experience is perfect for nature lovers, plant enthusiasts, and anyone wanting to create something truly unique. It’s also a wonderful opportunity for those looking for a relaxing, grounding experience in the woods. No prior knowledge is needed, just bring your curiosity.
